I have ten feature requests for you:

SCIENTIFIC NOTATION
SCIENTIFIC NOTATION
SCIENTIFIC NOTATION
SCIENTIFIC NOTATION
SCIENTIFIC NOTATION
SCIENTIFIC NOTATION
SCIENTIFIC NOTATION
SCIENTIFIC NOTATION
SCIENTIFIC NOTATION
SCIENTIFIC NOTATION

Until this thing supports a quick, easy "[] x 10 ^ []" function, it will be nearly useless for actual problem solving.

It will be nothing more than a fancy LaTeX editor.

Why is scientific notation such a blind spot for developers? Even on my TI-83, "EE" is a "2nd" function.

Yes, this is high on my list, and has been for a while. It's not that I've ignored the issue, but that it is complex to get the interface just right for entry of scientific notation vs. standard decimals. I have some ideas on how to do this, but it will take some work.

In the meantime, I'm trying to finish up the updates that I've been working on for the better part of a year to add undo / redo support and an iPad interface, among other fixes.
