You can only input half float textures on the iPhone 4S, iPad 2, and iPad 3, and even there you can't use them as rendering targets, so I doubt they'd be of much use to you in this framework. </p> <p>You could supply one as an input to a GPUImageTextureInput right now, without any modification to the framework.
