This is not a ribbon mode visualization, but it does look different than the others. When I changed to the new rendering engine a couple of months ago, I removed this mode because I had problems in making it look right. I still haven't corrected the issues I had with it, so it's still missing from the current version.
pubDate Wed, 03 Aug 2011 02:20:07 +0000 dc:creator Brad Larson guid false comment 1054 at http://www.sunsetlakesoftware.com Actually, I saw EXACTLY the http://www.sunsetlakesoftware.com/forum/ribbons-format#comment-1053
Actually, I saw EXACTLY the same thing on the iPad2 in the Verizon store in Cincinnati OH. The Molecules program looked identical to what I downloaded on my iPad2 this evening, except that I cannot display anything in Ribbon format. In the Verizon store, I could select Ribbon format for the pre-loaded structurs (exactly the same structures that came with the program I just downloaded), as well as for the additional structure that I downloaded from the PDB. Is there a different version of the program running in the Verizon store?
pubDate Wed, 03 Aug 2011 00:57:16 +0000 dc:creator jsrosenbaum guid false comment 1053 at http://www.sunsetlakesoftware.com I'm not sure what you saw, http://www.sunsetlakesoftware.com/forum/ribbons-format#comment-1019
I'm not sure what you saw, but Molecules has never supported a ribbon mode visualization. Perhaps you were looking at another application running on their display iPad.

Currently, the application only uses the spacefilling and ball-and-stick visualization modes.
pubDate Mon, 13 Jun 2011 20:28:29 +0000 dc:creator Brad Larson guid false comment 1019 at http://www.sunsetlakesoftware.com
